Computer Studies is a constantly evolving field with a dynamic nature that consistently propels the need for competent qualified computer science professionals. Graduates can work within a variety of careers from network administrators to computer programmers to those specializing in system and security administration. A few of our newest degrees are from the areas of testing, game development, and help desk. As the industry evolves, so do our course offerings, degrees, and certificates.
The Computer Studies area is differentiated into two areas, Computer Science and Computer Information Technology. Associate degrees in Computer Science are designed for students planning to continue their studies with a four-year institution.
Computer Information Technology degrees and certificates include courses from the Arts and Sciences curricula, as well as a wide array of computer courses designed to train students for entry level positions.
